the call of kestrel above the Invalidovna in Karlín and voices of Spanish turists trying to recognize the station Invalidovna in the tram nr 8. The building of Invalidovna complex, inspired by the similar architecture in Paris devoted to cripled soldiers, started in 1731, but the plan was never completed. The existing building was adapted to fulfil the function of the entire complex, including hospital, shops, workshops, and the chapel of Saint Cross and served for approximately 200 soldiers. In 1874 there lived about 1400 invalides. Today is in the building, demolished during the flood in 2002 archive of the Technical Museum.
