The barogue church near the botanical gardens at Slupi is part of the Sisters monastery with the hospital. It is standing at the place where was once the chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows, consecrated in 1681, and belonging to the house of emerit priests since 1679. In 1722 estate owned by the neighboring Servite Order won Sisters of Elizabethan Order and commissioned the construction of a new church and convent, designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzehofer. The church was consecrated in November 1725 and this female order resided here until 1948, when it was abolished and transferred to hospital administration. In 1991 returned the first two sisters of St Elizabeth Order and since then they accomplished the recostruction of one wing of the monastery. To second wing of the monastery serves as a hospital. Sisters take care about small vegetable garden, a vineyard and orchard with fruit trees. Their bees pollinate the plants in the near botanical garden. Other activities of the Order includes the work in the sacristy and the adjacent church of Our Lady of Sorrows, caring about the patients, working with youth, maintaing the buildings, etc.
