Church of st. Simon and Tadeas, U Milosrdných in Old Town, near the Hospital Na Františku, just before the concert starts. It is the only Prague church which is tributed to Apostols St. Simon and Juda Tadeas. On the place used to be a chappel, founded before 1357. Between the years 1615-1620 was erected the late renaissance church for The Order of Bohemian Brothers, celebrated on July 14 1620. On Christmas Eve the Emperot Ferdinand II gave the church to the Catolic Order of Milosrdny Brothers, who reconstructed the church and built the convent and the hospital. During the Communist era the building served as a depository of the Municipal Museum. After 1990 the propoerty was returned to the Order and serves nowdays as a concert hall where the rare organ, played once by Haendel and Mozart was restored. The recording of the Christmas Eve of the ensamble Musica Bohemica. Each year audience is bringing their little belles and play them while singing the Christmas Carrols.
