Community garden Libóza in Liboc
The recording made 6 PM at the side of the Terezka Lake. The Community Garden Libóza lies on the top of the hillside, next to the Garden of Liboc parish house, the Church of St. Fabián and Šebestián, under the wall of the Hvězda obora, above the Terezka Lake near the Libocký smelly potok. The community garden was established in 2021 thanks to the Project for the 6th destrict and support with a grant from the Prague Municipality. The foundation of the church extends according to the Chronicle of Václav Hájek z Libočan back to 992, when local warlord Hradoboj murdered a travelling priest Prostivoj who was busy to christianize local pagan folks. Prince Boleslav ordered then to build a stone church. In 1863, when a fire broke out in the nearby Vokovice "a piece of great bell fell off by too much ringing". In 1896 began the cross on the tower to lean, so a zealous and enterprising priest Mr. Vlastimil Hálka arranged that a big bell was reinforced."
The nearby Obora Hvězda is actually bird sanctuary and in the spring are birds competing with noise of the trafick from the nearby road and the flight corridor to the nearby Ruzyně Airport.
