(in construction)Vilem Flusser, geboren 1920 in Prag, emigrierte 1939 über London nach Sao Paulo. 1959 wurde er Dozent für Wissenschaftsphilosphie, 1963 Professor für Kommunikationsphilosophie an der Universität Sao Paulo. 1972 floh Flusser vor dem Militärregime und ließ sich in Südfrankreich nieder. Er starb 1991 bei einem Verkehrsunfall.
