The excursion with the neolocator Jan Trajbal and the botanist and poet Jiří Sádlo to the former Strnad Garden in Veleslavín. In the beginning of the 20th century Mr. Strnad founded here huge garden, The neighboring Chladkovo garden is still alive and flourishing. More than 5 hectares of property - once on the outskirts of the town, today an island in the dense housing between the streets of Europská and Na Petřinách conceals lush vegetation and improvised shelters by homeless. The vast area is divided into half by the railway tracks. You can find downhill the remnants of Dejvický or Veleslavínský creek, which (almost does not) flow from the basin of Veleslavínský zámeček or sanatorium. Photo: Jan Bartoš
