On the New Year's walk from Hostivař to Záběhlice we admired the red sky and somewhere above the gas plant in Michle perhaps even the aurora borealis. Eruptions on the Sun sent a plasma cloud of charged particles that reached us on New Year's Eve and even on New Year's Eve. The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted a geomagnetic storm of up to class G3 and it seems that the magpies in the former cherry orchard must have discussed it in detail. At the same time, the wind picked up and a clouds were rushing from the Atlantic.
