Zvuky Prahy / Sounds of Prague

Recording of part of Jonáš Gruška’s performance in the courtyard of Školská 28 Gallery. Using two tiny transducers, an amplifier and PC, and tuning the gate by touch, he causes the metal garage doors to vibrate. The musical timbre is expanded by several miniature microcontroler whistles, spread around the scene and among the listeners. At the end, local birds begin to sing, and at the beginning, the building’s tenants quietly closed their windows facing the courtyard.
