Reveil / Dawn Chorus

Reveil is a 24 hours radio broadcast project dedicated to listening to the chorus dawn. Natural sounds in unpolluted areas relays the sounds of live open microphones provided by streamers around the world. The event has been organized since 2014 by the British community art organizations under the name of SoundCamp, User can stream via the server Locus Sonus using smartphones, or microphones connected to laptops, or Raspberry Pi as well as with professional broadcasting techniques. Every year dozens of ornithologists - laymen, community radios and research science institutes participate in the event to observe and capture the planetary chorus dawn.
In addition to the broadcasting project, Reveil also represents a network of interconnected microfestivals - listening camps, shelters during which on the occasion of the "International Dawn Chorus" on the night from May 2nd to 3rd, hundreds of listeners around the world gather and bivouac in tents in city parks, groves, forests, meadows, nature reserves, etc.
