Zvuky Prahy / Sounds of Prague

Inside the steel body of the giant gasholder in Kročehlavy Poldi Kladno, actually the former Koněv Steelfactory. The construction was almost 90 meter high and 55 meter in diameter. It was possible to climb on the top on the staircase attached from outside of the barrel. The view from here was panoramic, reaching from skyline of Prague, to the green hills around Rakovník and Slaný till the mountainrange of Krušné hory on the horizon. We recorded in summer 2004 with Michael Delia a session of improvised sound dialogue. Unfortunately with bad gear. The building was later demolished.
