David Černý designed and created for the new Business center Quadro in the Národní street the large kinetic sculpture inspired by Franz Kafka. The statue has a height of 11 meters, is costructed of stainless steel and the developers reportedly cost 30 million crones. The segments are moving horizontally and the head is looking around in a way reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Terminator. The recording captures the acoustic environment in the atrium of the building and the vibrations of the engine inside the sculpture recorded form the surface by a contact microphone.
