A fragment of a sound installation for the Petr Stibral Horticultural Colony Monument in Jindřich Chalupecký and Jiřina Hauková's parks in Vršovice in front of the railway station. The monument-sculputre created from old planks is actually a wooden hut connected with a silhouette of elderberry. It refers to the nearby Bohdalec hill with the remains of the former settlement of Sedmidomky and Slatina, where are now still some gardening colonies, including community of homeless people living there. An urban project for the reconstruction of Slatiny are into a modern housing estate is in the process, which means the dissapearing of another island of a fragile connection between urban development and nature in Prague. Petr Stibral lives in a family villa on the slope of the Michelská gasworks area and has been engaged in sculptural interventions in this surrounding of the former outskirts for many years. The sonic collage, quietly penetrating from the interior of the monument-hut, associates the surrounding sound landscape in the past and future: voices of football fans from nearby Bohemians stadion, the growl of pigeons, barking of dogs, the radio, etc.
