The Travelling Carrilon of Prague is large (57 bells) instrument created by Czech bellfounder P. R. Manoušek in 2001. It is placed on a truck (total weight 21800 kg) and thus made transportable. Its history is quite dramatic one and it is admirable that the Manoušek family eventually succeded in finishing such a masterpiece. The carrilon appears regularly in the concrete suburb of Jizni mesto around Christmas. In this recording, in the middle of the night and while dreadfully freezing, in front of listeners in gloves and caps, Radek Rejsek plays 'Summertime'.
